A good SEO package in Dubai pays for five things every month: technical upkeep of your site, new or improved pages that answer what your buyers actually search, local and brand-entity work, links and mentions earned rather than bought, and a report that ties rankings to enquiries. If a package is mostly “X backlinks and Y blog posts per month,” you are buying activity, not results.
Price is set by scope, not by the word “package.” A one-location clinic that needs a tidy site and local rankings is a different job from a B2B company competing for “software” terms across the GCC in two languages. This guide shows what each line of a monthly SEO package should contain, how to compare quotes that look nothing alike, the red flags Google itself warns about, and how to tell after three months whether it is working.
Why SEO in Dubai is competitive.
Start with the market you are buying into. In the UAE, “seo services dubai” and “seo agency dubai” are each searched about 5,400 times a month, and advertisers pay around USD 26 for a single click on the second one. That price is a good proxy for how much a new client is worth to the agencies bidding on it, and it explains why your inbox is full of SEO offers.
| Search (UAE, English) | Monthly searches | Cost per click (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| seo services dubai | 5,400 | 25.92 |
| seo agency dubai | 5,400 | 25.92 |
| google ads agency dubai | 260 | 12.98 |
| seo packages dubai | 140 | 6.98 |
| seo report | 70 | 5.63 |
| seo cost dubai | 20 | – |

The practical point: when an industry is this crowded, the cheapest offer is rarely the best value. You want an agency that can show you exactly what it will do each month and how you will know it worked.
What should an SEO package in Dubai include?.
Here is the line-by-line anatomy we would expect in any serious monthly programme, with the warning sign for each.
| Component | What you should get | Red flag |
|---|---|---|
| Technical SEO | Monthly crawl, indexing check in Search Console, fixes shipped (not just listed) | The same audit PDF every month |
| Content | Pages mapped to real searches, briefed from keyword and SERP data | A fixed blog-post count with no target keyword |
| On-page | Titles, descriptions, headings and internal links tuned to each page’s query | “Meta tags optimised” with no before/after |
| Local and entity | Google Business Profile, consistent name and address, Organization schema | Nobody asks for your trade licence address |
| Authority | Mentions and links from relevant, real sites, named in the report | “50 high-DA backlinks a month” |
| Reporting | Clicks, rankings and enquiries from organic, compared month on month | Only traffic and “visibility score” |
| AI search | Checks on how ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews describe and cite you | Promises of guaranteed AI placement |
Not every business needs all seven at full weight. A new site usually needs technical and content work first. An established site with decent content often needs authority and on-page tuning more. The package should be shaped around your gap, which means the agency should have looked at your site before quoting.
How much do SEO packages cost in Dubai?.
There is no reliable public dataset of SEO fees in the UAE, so we won’t invent one. Price lists you find online are each agency’s own marketing. What we can tell you is what moves the number, so you can tell whether a quote is fair for your situation:
- How competitive your searches are. Ranking for “dentist in Al Barsha” is a smaller job than ranking for “accounting software UAE.”
- How many languages. English and Arabic is close to two content programmes, not one with a translation step.
- How many locations and markets. UAE only, or Saudi, Kuwait and Qatar too.
- The state of your site. A slow site or a site built so that content only appears after JavaScript runs needs fixing before content pays off.
- Who does the work. A senior strategist reviewing every page costs more than a junior team running a checklist, and it usually shows.
- Whether content writing is included. Many low quotes exclude writing, so you pay for it again elsewhere.
The way to compare two quotes that look nothing alike is to break each one into deliverables and divide: what does each new page, each fixed technical issue, each earned mention cost? Then ask what the agency expects those deliverables to do to your enquiries. If they can’t answer the second question, the first doesn’t matter. For wider budget context, our breakdown of what digital marketing costs in the UAE covers how SEO sits next to paid media and content.
Why cheap SEO packages are usually link packages.
The most common “affordable SEO package” is a bundle of links: a fixed number of backlinks per month from sites that exist only to sell them. Google’s spam policies name this directly. Buying or selling links for ranking purposes, excessive link exchanges and using automated services to create links are all listed as link spam. At best those links are ignored. At worst they drag your site down.

We see the after-effects on UAE sites often, including our own: domains that suddenly have thousands of links from throwaway sites with names like “buy web traffic” or “free backlinks.” Some of that is automated spam nobody asked for, and Google is largely good at ignoring it. But if your agency built it on purpose, you are paying to take a risk. Ask every agency to name the sites they expect to earn links from. Real ones have names.
Judge an SEO package by its deliverables and its reporting, not its price or its link count. Ask what gets shipped every month, how it ties to enquiries, and which real sites will mention you. An agency that can answer all three is worth a proper conversation.
What should an SEO agency deliver every month?.
Whatever the scope, a monthly report should let a non-specialist answer “what did we pay for, and did it work?” in five minutes. At minimum:
- Work shipped: a list of pages published or improved and technical fixes made, with links, not “ongoing optimisation.”
- Search Console numbers: clicks, impressions, average position and click-through rate, this month against last, straight from Google’s own tool.
- Queries that moved: the searches you gained or lost positions on, especially the ones that bring buyers rather than readers.
- Organic enquiries: forms, calls or WhatsApp chats that came from organic search, from your analytics or CRM.
- Issues found: indexing problems, broken pages, speed regressions, and who is fixing them.
- Next month’s plan: what will be done and why, tied to the gaps above.
Insist on access to your own Google Search Console and Analytics. You should own both, and you should be able to check the agency’s numbers without asking them.
How do I tell if my SEO agency is actually working?.
Six checks you can run yourself in under an hour:
Search Console trend
Are impressions rising on searches that matter to you, not just on random long-tail terms?
Position on money pages
Are your service pages moving towards page one for the terms buyers use?
Click-through rate
Page-one pages with almost no clicks usually have weak titles. Is anyone fixing them?
Pages actually shipped
Open the URLs in the report. Are they live, indexed and genuinely useful?
Link quality
Look at new linking sites. Would a customer ever visit one?
Enquiries
Is organic producing leads in your CRM, even a few? That is the number that pays for the package.
If four or more of these are flat after three to six months, and the agency explains it only with “SEO takes time,” it is time for a harder conversation. Our marketing measurement guide shows how to set up the tracking that makes the last check possible.
How long does SEO take in the UAE?.
Google doesn’t publish a timeline. Its own advice on hiring an SEO is to ask what results they expect and in what timeframe, and to walk away from anyone who guarantees a number-one ranking, because “no one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.”

In our experience, the honest shape of a programme looks like this. In the first month, technical fixes and indexing improvements, which you can see in Search Console. By month three, new pages getting impressions and some moving onto page one for long-tail searches. By month six, movement on harder commercial terms and the first steady enquiries, if the content and authority work has been real. A young domain with few mentions will be slower, a site with years of history faster. Anyone who promises page one for competitive Dubai terms within weeks is describing ads, not SEO.
Do I need Arabic SEO in my package?.
If you sell to Saudi Arabia, almost certainly. Arabic searches for SEO help alone show the pattern: in Saudi Arabia, “سيو” is searched about 880 times a month and “شركة سيو” (SEO company) about 320, while in the UAE the same Arabic terms see 70 and 20.

For a UAE-only business selling to expatriates and English-speaking companies, English may cover most of your demand. For anything with Saudi ambitions, Arabic content written natively, not machine-translated, belongs in the package from the start. Our Saudi digital marketing reality check explains why a UAE plan rarely transfers as-is.
Questions to ask before you sign.
- Can you show examples of previous work and results we can verify?
- Do you follow Google’s Search Essentials, and how do you earn links?
- What do you expect to happen in our first three and six months, and how will you measure it?
- Who will actually work on our account, and how senior are they?
- Will we own our Search Console, Analytics and content if we leave?
- What is not included in this price?
Google’s own checklist covers the first three. The last three are the ones that save you money. If you are weighing an agency against a freelancer or an in-house hire, our guide to choosing a growth agency in the UAE has a scorecard you can use as-is.

Frequently asked questions.
What is included in a monthly SEO package?
A complete package covers technical upkeep, content mapped to real searches, on-page tuning, local and brand-entity work, earned links and mentions, and a monthly report tied to enquiries. Many cheaper packages include only some of these.
Are cheap SEO packages in Dubai worth it?
Usually not, when “cheap” means a fixed number of purchased backlinks. Google treats bought links as spam. A smaller scope done properly is better value than a big list of low-quality activity.
Can an SEO agency guarantee first-page rankings?
No. Google states that no one can guarantee a number-one ranking, and recommends avoiding anyone who claims they can.
Should SEO packages include AI search?
Increasingly, yes. The work that earns AI citations overlaps heavily with good SEO, but someone should be checking how ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI features describe your business. Our AI search visibility guide explains what that involves.
How do I compare two SEO quotes?
Break each into monthly deliverables, check what is excluded, and ask each agency what those deliverables should do to your enquiries. The quote with the clearest answer is usually the better one.
Should I do SEO or Google Ads first?
If you need enquiries this month, ads. If you need a cheaper source of enquiries next year, SEO. Most growing businesses in the UAE run both, using ad data to learn which searches convert before investing in content for them. See what Google Ads costs in the UAE for the paid side.
So, what should an SEO package in Dubai include? Real technical fixes, pages that answer what your buyers search, earned authority, and reporting that ends in enquiries, scoped to your gap and priced by the work.
