This Privacy Policy explains how Kando Marketing ("Kando", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit kandomarketing.com (the "Site"), submit a form, or use one of our free tools. By using the Site you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: name, email address, company (optional), and the message you write.
- Tool submissions: email address, name (optional), and the answers you give in our scorecards / audits.
- Scheduling: when you book a strategy call, you provide your name, email, and any details you add through our scheduling partner.
- Kando First Job applications: see Section 2.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and analytics data such as pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location, device type, browser, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies used for essential site functionality and aggregate analytics (see Section 6).
2. Kando First Job applicants
If you apply to Kando First Job, our hiring and training programme, we collect more than anywhere else on the Site:
- Your profile: name, email, phone, date of birth, nationality, gender, country and city, education, languages, availability, work preferences, the links you share (LinkedIn, portfolio, intro video) and how you heard about us.
- Your files: your CV and any certificates you upload. They sit in private storage and open only through short-lived links for the Kando team members who review applications.
- Your work: your answers to the programme tasks, the scores and feedback on them, and your points and level.
Why: to run the programme, review your work, contact you about your application and decide whom to interview and hire. Kando Marketing is responsible for this data.
AI scoring: your task answers get a first score from an AI model through our AI providers, on paid model access only (never free tiers that may keep your text). People at Kando make every interview and hiring decision.
Who sees it: only the Kando team members who run the programme. It is stored with Supabase, and programme emails go through our email provider. We never sell it or pass it to other employers.
How long we keep it: we keep your application, including your CV and your task work, until you ask us to delete it. Email nader@kandomarketing.com at any time and we will delete it.
3. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and deliver requested content (e.g. scorecard results).
- To schedule and conduct strategy calls.
- To send occasional follow-ups, insights, or service-related emails. You can opt out at any time.
- To improve the Site, our content, and our services.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect against misuse.
4. Where your data is stored
Form and tool submissions are stored in our backend database operated by Supabase. Access is restricted to authorized Kando team members and protected by row-level security policies.
5. Third parties we work with
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage for the Site and our internal admin tools.
- Cal.com — scheduling strategy calls. Booking forms are processed by Cal.com under their privacy policy.
- Email provider — for transactional and notification emails (e.g. confirming a contact-form submission or delivering tool results).
- Analytics — privacy-respecting analytics tooling to understand aggregate site usage. We do not sell your data.
We share only the minimum information needed for each provider to perform its function, and we never sell your personal information.
6. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar local-storage values for essential functionality (e.g. remembering your session if you sign in) and for aggregate analytics. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not function correctly if you do.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as is necessary for the purposes described above, to comply with our legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. Kando First Job applications follow the rule in Section 2. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see Section 8).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at nader@kandomarketing.com and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Children
The Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the latest revision.
