Frequency

Frequency is the average number of times each person saw your ad over a period.

Frequency tells you how repetitive a campaign feels to one person. A little repetition builds memory; too much burns budget and tanks CTR.

Example: 600,000 impressions ÷ 200,000 reach = a frequency of 3.0. For prospecting, rising frequency with falling CTR is the classic cue to refresh creative.
